None other the my dad would do bird calls evey now and then putting his two hand up to his mouth...and a bee stinging me outside as a child...and that was just about the extent of it all. I guess that is why I didn't start having sex until I was 18 years old.

My mother raised 5 childeren 4 of which are girls. she came from a very very very large family.. mostly women. sex was always discussed openly amungst them..autiis and all. using proper words sometims and sometimes not. it was never a shock to me how things worked. when i hit my teen years. mom then explained in detail how things were and stressed the responsiblity that comes with being sexually active. none of us ( my sisters) had children at an early age nor did we have sex premeturely

I was lucky, like Dejavu my mum just explained the facts when I was very young, at two I had a video that was a cartoon showing all the stuff that happens inside the body from when the sperm and egg meet to when the baby is born. I watched it for years, I was very facinated by that stuff, at primary school I was always looking at them biology books about the human body and of course about babies.

So, when I was like 4 and my cousin (much older than me) Tana had her baby; I asked my mom where babies come from.

She just sat me down right then and told me the WHOLE truth and nothing but the truth so help me God...

I know my little eyeballs were probably about to pop out of my head but I did understand.

From then on I was VERY curious about boys... because my mom told me that with the "right man" sex was very pleasurable....

Took me some years to figure out that there are a lot of "right men" in that aspect just not very many in all the other aspects.

i was 9 when i started my period and i think its scared the hell outta my mother...she wasn't prepared and i came home from school one day not too long after and there was a book on my desk. when i came out of my room for supper that night she asked me if i had any questions....that was it.


i used to watch TLC a lot and my son had seen 'A Babys Story' many times...he understood that a baby comes out of the mothers vagina and that it looks like it hurt...he asked me a lot of questions about his birth...it was all good. about 2 years ago (he is now 10) he came to me and said "I know a woman pushes a baby out of her vagina....but how does it get in there??" i explained in the simplest way i could...love+penis+vagina-condom=baby...i think i ay need to explain again....LOL
