We never had the Birds and Bees talk. To this day, my Dad covers my eyes when sex scenes come up on movies we watch together, and I'm 28!!!!!! Probably explains why I got knocked up at 19...teehee!

My parents didn't tell me anything. They bought about 4 different books for me to read when I was 8. I don't think they were prepared at all.

my parents really never talked to me about sex when i was a teenager. my grandma just used to tell me dont get no girl pregnant. so that was the extent of my learning from my parents. everything i else i learned from "real sex" specials on HBO that used to sneak and watch starting when i was 11yrs old. and then from experimenting. i learned a lot just from talking to girls that were older then me. a freaking world of knowledge

They didn't.... I was just a highly sexual person and knew instinctively - even educating the teachers who were trying to educate me....!!!

I now talk freely with my daughter (aged 10) - she knows that she can talk to me about sex without fear to reprimand.... I can't trust anyone else to do that job


Curiously, I can now also talk openly with my Mum!! (she's just as bad as me!!!) - she cracks me up with some of the porno statements she comes out with!!!
