Have you had a period of being single for a long time?.......
Not long enough lol. I split from my hubby Summer 2003 and only had long distance relationships from then till the turn of this year. I think subconsciously this was as much as i wanted or needed.


and if so and you are no longer single did you actively seek out a partner or just stumbble across one?.......
I wanted to be a single for a good few years, heal from my last relationship and enjoy my freedom. I was only willing to consider a relationship if it was going to be a serious one.

Ive still kinda got both. My partner loves his own space just as I do so we allow each other that. However I do miss being able to walk around the house naked (he tells me to put my clothes on!?), I miss finishing work early then buying some lovely binge food, switching off the fones and being alone. I miss cooking what I want in the way I want with no interference. But these are minor things we all have. I would say what I get from the relationship is worth giving up my freedom for...especially the sex every day bit

maybe its cos we live in a house thats very visible to passers by. still....i see no real problem with that lol

LOLOL D is senstive about that too....when i was walking naked in the hotel we stayed in.....he was concerned who could see in the sliding door....I how ever coulda cared less.....I love being naked....lololol

Thanks for sharing LS....I hear you re needing time to heal, the problem I have is that that time has been almost 9 years and i'm still very cautious about getting close to any man who will want to share what up until now has been my time, my space, I really can not begin to imagine sharing a home......may be I need a long distance relationship

Yup, thats the key then you still have someone to say I love you last thing at night on the phone, then you can roll over and fart in bed....

seriously, I know where your coming from and if something was to happen to this relationship ill quite gladly go back to being alone.
