No it isn't selfish! If I am not happy with my life and myself how am I supposed to be a good mate to a man?! If I am not doing what I need to do with myself then all I'm going to want to do is hitch up under the man all the time for lack of better itch to do!

I'm only speaking from my own experience here though. I found that I was always altering my priorities to accomodate this man's needs, which distracted me from moving forward. I was focused on making him excel.. I made him take his football serious again and aa buch of other stuff... but who was taking care of me?

I'm just talking about my past experience NF. I admire people who are able to create balance to do what they need to do to be happy and still maintain their relationships.

When it's 50/50 it's good... but I've never had a 50/50 situation yet! Being in love does feel great and yeah you miss companionship when you're single though.. I do..

Well, consideration for a change that would be good. What else?... ambition or drive of some sort... crazy bedroom antics.. honesty... the usual stuff I'm not looking for money or whatever but I won't deal with a guy whose not working only because those guys tend idle and LOVE IT (the ones I know) a guy that has his future clear in his mind or at least works toward constructive goals.....
