In Love with a Jamaican Man

So let's talk more about Jamaican tings....

For all the women out there, foreign and local who are (or who has ever been) in love with a Jamaican man, tell me:

How does it feel to be in love with a Jamaican man? Is it the same as any other nationality or different?

What do you like the most about jamaican men?

What do you like the least about jamaican men?

Do you think that YOUR jamaican man is typical of most Jamaican men?

Do you feel any advantage or disadvantage being, not being a jamaican woman yourself?

How does it feel to be in love with a Jamaican man? Is it the same as any other nationality or different? It is wonderful. He's a man like any other. I don't think his nationality makes a bit of difference.

What do you like the most about jamaican men? Outgoingness (is that even a word?), sense of loyalty

What do you like the least about jamaican men? Sometimes their outgoingness and sense of loyalty

Do you think that YOUR jamaican man is typical of most Jamaican men?No....Jomo is different then any other JA man that I know. Different then all his friends, definately.

Do you feel any advantage or disadvantage being, not being a jamaican woman yourself? Neither.
.

Jomo and I were destined to be together because we have similar personalities, goals, lifestyles, and strengths. Where one of us lacks, the other can fill in.

It's not about nationality or color. It's about attraction and compatiblity.

Do you think that YOUR jamaican man is typical of most Jamaican men?

I have been with two, both kinda da same yet both kinda different, guess all men are different right? However I think Wayne was MORE typical JAman then Rambo.. Wayne had more rules and more "restrictions". Oh and here I compared dem to Jamaican friends and man that date my friends.

Do you feel any advantage or disadvantage being, not being a jamaican woman yourself?

No! I can't indulge more on this question

Re: In Love with a Jamaican Man

I have to agree with Windypace. I don't know that I've been IN love with a Jamaican man, although at that time I probably thought I was. But I know I've loved a couple, and for totally different reasons each time.

Yes I think one of them was because he was Jamaican and I loved the idea of it, the culture, the experiences, the things I learned. But typical....yes.

The other I loved because he was just because he was a person. He could be any nationality and it wouldn't make a difference.

Re: In Love with a Jamaican Man

Well i have this to ad from my experience...once a jamaican man in is in your life...he is there to stay. I had a four year realtionship with my ex and even though we are not together he is still around, same for the two or three other jamaican men I have dated. they still call to check on me and see if i need anything. i love this quality. Don't really know if it cause they are jamaican or that i am just attracted to this personality type, but none of my other ex's do this.

Re: In Love with a Jamaican Man

I am Jamaican, and I wish I could talk that boasty about my own men as foreign girls do. Not that I am saying ALL of them are bad, but majority of them shows their own (us Jamaican woman) a different face/treatment to what they show foreign girls.

Talking from experiences and observations.

I'm interested in your previous comment about them treating foreigners differently. I think its a shame but why do you think that is?
