The problem, my dear, is that many women, for some unexplainable reason, are just attracted to the wrong guys. The guys who will treat you well, and be faithful, and loyal, and supportive, are the very ones many women run in the opposite direction from. So don't think that because the sample of the population which you generally tend to familiarize yourself with behaves in one particular way, means that the entire population behaves that way.
There are plenty good Jamaican men who treat their women (Jamaican or otherwise) quite well. The challenge is for women to open their eyes and see them.

Because so many women settle for them. They have no incentive to improve.
For example:
The reason so many men pressure women for sex before marriage is because they are pretty certain that the women will give in. If the they women they pressure won't give in, some other woman will. They don't need to change their attitude (in their view), they just need to change their target. If more women put up more resistance and demanded better treatment, men would be forced to improve.
It is better to ask why so many women settle for men that are bad for them.

I do not agree.. I have met ONE Jamaican man that treat his woman good.. out of the about uhm..... 500 I know.. I dont think I will ever get married to a JA man.. sadly enuf......

How well do you know the 500 Jamaican men you claim to know? Who's side of the story of each of their relationships are you basing your position on? The 500 Jamaican men you know are but a very small sample of the total population of Jamaican men worldwide. There are many other Jamaican men you don't know. Then there is the question of sample selection. From what background did the men you know come from? Did they come from the same area? What is it they have in common? Where did you meet them?
The point I am making is that anectodal evidence or personal experience is just that - personal experience. Beyond that, you cannot definitively or authoritatively substantiate a claim for all of the population. In other words, it would be flawed to generalize or stereotype based on limited experience or information.
I know quite a few guys who treat their women good. Others do too.
As for you marrying a Jamaican man, if you do, great, if you don't such is life. If you end up with a guy who respects you, loves you and treats you well, and who you respect, and love as well, then that would be the best thing you could ask for - regardless of where he is from.
Just look for a good man.

Well i have this to ad from my experience...once a jamaican man in is in your life...he is there to stay. I had a four year realtionship with my ex and even though we are not together he is still around, same for the two or three other jamaican men I have dated. they still call to check on me and see if i need anything. i love this quality. Don't really know if it cause they are jamaican or that i am just attracted to this personality type, but none of my other ex's do this.
