Thanks guys. I realize my problem is that I want what I want now. And when you miss someone its easy to just want to be together without looking at the whole picture. We talk more about things and I see how hard it is for him and it makes me feel bad. I understand the fact that he doesnt want me to come and be miserable with him and he wants to try to change the circumstances first. He said okay you come here what are you going to do???? Yea starting a taxi is something but it has to grow into something more to really be okay. So its a learning process for me to be patient and really plan things through.

Missty maybe I missed it previously but what does your boyfriend do in Jamaica for a living? What do you currently do in the states for a living? If there is a will there is a way....

While that is true, in this situation, careful planning and considerations need to be made first. Think how hard it would be for you to just pack up and move to another US city. Think of everything involved. Then, think in terms of moving to another country.

Well thats what I did packed up my car and moved to another state!. I had a job here but I needed to go.
He works for a hotel and me I am lookign for a job and I own my own business. The goal is to go back to work save money and set my business up so it making money. Also setting up a couple of additional businesses. mutiple streams of income is my goal.

It is a good goal, hope it works out for you. Its harder than people think especially in JA, beurocracy, fees, taxes etc.

When I say set up businesses I meant here in the states. If I can get the right things set up I ll be the silent partner so to speak so I dont have to be here just make the money. Right now I am just planning and setting things up. I never expect anything to be easy and things her for me in the states are not easy. Never have been. Living from paycheck to paycheck is a false sense of security. You have to have more then that wherever you go. And with that I know I can make things work.
