I'd like to see what you write, LD. As, Jomo and I used to be in the same situation. Personally, I'd have real concerns about this guy and would not put up with the game I think he is playing.

No JG she met him in March!!!!!! This was the friend I was talking about that she met the guy and married him in six months.
And yes being careful is what I am doing. Thats why I wrote all this to get it off my chest. And for others to read it because I know that I can over think a situation. Bottom line thats the impression I was getting, wasnt ready for the long term. Which is fine. It hurts but I am a big girl.

The fact that he is pulling away, would be the kicker for me. If he is honestly into the relationship, there should be nothing he hides. If you can't feel the honesty now, then your gut instincts are kicking in. Follow those.

See JG - this is exactly why I waited 16 months before making the decision to go to JA....I am finally excited about going and at the same time SCARED to death....Missty - I understand completely...just rely on your instincts to do the right thing for you....one way or another, everything will be fine.

The funny thing is with my gut sometimes I question if I am being too sensitve or am i overreacting. I can make a mountain out of a molehill sometimes. But as I have gotten older I have learned to realize my gut is saying something and just step back before making a decision. Just proceed with caution.

I used to never follow my gut, I was a lot like you Missty, making mountains out of molehills. As Ive matured and aged, i've learned to step back, breath, and look at things before jumping, I jumped into many things, including my Relationship with Rupert, but luckily for me so far so good 6 years later.
Ive been burned twice by JA men(living in Canada), and have learned from my mistakes, just hold tight, make decisons you are comfortable with, and remeber always love yourself first. A lesson Ive had to learn.

I agree about the gut instinct thing. I find that almost always, our subconscious analyses things objectively tells us things subtlety that we don't always listen too. When it is 'les affaires du coeur' we are more prone to ignore our intuition because it doesn't always tell us what we want to hear.
