For those who think their Significant Other doesn't cheat!
The Star newspaper recently completed a poll regarding Adultery in Jamaica.
Keep in mind..this is for Married Couples. Unmarried, I imagine might be worse. They found that: The average man has three women and the average woman two men Only 20 per cent of males and 30 per cent of females are faithful to their partners.

DAMN!!!! Well i never figured anybody in Jamaica that I hung with was purely single. The thing that bothers me about that is if you're gettin' down with him, he's ALREADY comparing you to his other women! LOL

And since they say when you sleep with your partner you are essentially sleeping with anyone he is sleeping with...........Hmmmmmmm....Wonder why AIDS is so rampant.

But then again, you are generalizing, which is pretty much bashing Jamaicans AGAIN. Did they ask the entire country?-every single person? And were they all truthful?

Cheating can happen anywhere and with anyone..but for the record everybody who I know in Jamaica..even my friends up here who are in distant relationships with someone in Jamaica..they are madly in love while they are speaking with their love or in person..but otherwise they have their man/woman on the side
 Of course not EVERY Jamaican person will be like that...but Jamaica isn't only known for the beautiful landscape..LOL, they are known to be great lovers and that is what brings most Women*and Men* down there AND ALSO what makes them stand out when they touch the States, Canada and elsewhere...to be treated as if they are the only woman/men in the world and all that follows to a certain extent

Hmmm, my opinion might upset people! I do not consider sexing another person a crime! I am not that kinda person that will do it very fast... but sex to me is sex! For me sex does not have to be related to feelings! I have had sex once with a guy that I never felt anything for and do not feel anything for now! It was a moment... an instinct and it did not mean anything. Me, him and his wife had breakfast the next morning. People may judge and say it was bad... It was good! Believe me. Sex can be with no strings attached. I do not stress on my man.. I don't ask him if he does, I know he does! I do not want a man that has various relationships though! A f**k must stay a f**k! Don't go round givin' her money, takin' care of she babies an ****! But cheatin? Don't even stress dat!

Ghetto, to each his own. No one is going to be offended by your response, we just won't all feel the same way about it. You have a right to your own life. There's at least one other member on this board who operates like that....whatever.
My concern with taking 'cheating' so lightly is the whole HEALTH issue!!! Ummmm do we not have a thread on here about AIDS, HIV, STD's???? You can't tell me you are 100% guarded from those things EVERY time you have sex with random men.

I agree, JC & HT. How does a f#%k stay just a f#%k when disease and pregnancy is so prevelent? I cannot see sex with random guys as appealing when the health issues are just so darn scary.
And, I don't stress about my guy having sex with someone else. I just would not stand for it. If I am in a relationship, it is me and only me, or what is the point of a relationship? I am faithful too. If I can't be, then I am out of that relationship. Why would I risk the health of someone I care about? I had some random sexcapades in my lifetime. Then, I grew up and realized sex was not worth dying over. If I don't take care of me, who else will?
