ones that have a very large carribean community. where there are only 3 of us americans on the site of bout 12,000 members...about 500 activly posting members.

what are the stats here?

The vast MAJORITY (*Think that was the word you intended to use, not sure though, hard to decipher the broken English - are you getting help for that language issue?) of people on sites like Islandmix are outta the US? Sorry babygirl - you must not read the threads about the link ups in Brooklyn, etc... and hate to tell ya - I am on islandmix, joined it when I was living in the Caribbean - Something you might want to try, it might open your mind to the fact that there are other people in this world besides Jamaican -

I am so happy to hear that you did such vast research and only uncovered one Caribbean woman who would sponsor a man for a greencard - Personally, I know about 10 who are doing it right now - But they are being used as well, right?

U have a problem with broken english but you can understand patois?...LOLOLOL funny. ETJ aint english class and it aint that serious. But i have no language issues. i actually live in a proffesional world where i have to be exact...detailed oriented...thats how i make my money...BUT this is an internet forum..go ahead and make the corrections for me, i will appreciate it.

And i dnit have to do any research. its there in a very recent thread when asked "would you sponsor somone from home" and out of all of the responses, only one person said they would. not hard to read.----u only read and see what you want to cuz i never stated that EVERY one in this situation is being used...NEVER ONCE---but im not going to back down and say the vast majority that meet ppl on vacation ARE!-

Lady Rasta,

You mentioned that your man got his visa on his own. Can you tell me how (you can PM me if you don't want to put his info on blast here). The reason I'm asking is that my bf and I would love to know alternate ways for him to come over here (on a more permanent basis than a tourist visa) without us having to marry (neither of us are ready for that!!!)

I never look in this thread but dang y'all always pushing eachothers buttons!!!!!

All I can say is that just because ur black or white doesnt make you a Jamaican!!! It dont matter where you come from, ur NOT one of dem and you never will be!!!

Jamaicans, Caribbeans in general are very proud of their culture and I think thats fabulous, I wish my people would be more proud..

For the record, I have never been to a real local party and seen Caribbean women standing in a corner But then again I have never been to JA to see that, I assume that JA could be very similar to AUA and yes.. I stand in the corner too at the tourist visited clubs and mostly LAUGH out these tourists because they just look dumb PLUS the guys that are with dem are only sucking empty their purses, so I stand in a corner and watch with amazement!!!!!
