Re: How do u bring someone from JA over to the States?

Hello all, i am new to ETJ, and have been reading the posts, for a few days before i decided to become a member. I have recently met a jamaican man, who seems to be quite nice, but like many other members on here, have concerns about his sincerity. I am going back to visit him in july, but am hoping that my trust issues dont destroy our friendship, before it ever gets off the ground. I just want you all to know that you offer heartfelt advice that i hope will prove to be beneficial. Thanks

It's not an easy journey. Well worth it in the end. Patience is a MUST.

Feel free to PM if you do the visa journey. I can point you to some really great resources before, during, and after the filing. Some incredible people who know just about anything you might need some help with.

Re: How do u bring someone from JA over to the States?

Update.....we celebrated our 2nd Anniversary on Sunday.

I started gathering the paperwork for the 10 year green card, called lifting of conditions, today. My head aches.

My advice is this. DO NOT RUSH and pay close attention. Rely on your instincts, it its telling you somethings off, it probally is. There should be no immediate talks about nothing long term such as marriage, Green card, etc.

Good Luck.

Re: How do u bring someone from JA over to the States?

If you knew anything about the visa process, you would know that is virtually impossible for a Jamaican to bring himself.

Re: How do u bring someone from JA over to the States?

if you knew anything about a real man handling his own buisness without riding off of the tail and pocket of a woman ,you would understand that it can and has been done and its being done everyday.......

check a real carribean site and you will see!
