What the hell does this mean if a guy tells you (after 2 years): We're not breaking up, but I just need some space. I think I need to be away from you if I'm really going to be with you in the long run. No, its not about being with someone else and its nothing that you did. You're perfect, its me I just need some time alone. But we can still hang out.

He has explained to you why he needed his space. This is what's wrong with alot of females today! They try to read into situations more then what their mate is telling them. Sometimes men do need their time and space to think just like females do. A lot of females often times bring heatache on their ownselves and you know how we can sometimes think all sorts of crazy things.

If you truly love him then allow him the time that he has asked for....and if he truly loves you then he will be back. When I am in Jamaica I don't spend every moment with my husband and just because I don't, doesn't mean that I don't love him...but I do have my cell phone close by when he needs to call me. Yes, even married couples like my husband and I need some space. "Absence makes the heart grow fonder"

Thank you. You mentioned you keep your phone close when he needs to call. So should I be available for him when he wants to see while hes getting his space. Or just stay away for awhile.

Yes, pick up the phone....Whatever your man has to say...no matter what it is big or small....it's always important. It will help you to stay abreast of things in whatever is going on in his mind. You need to know.

i agree dont let him get booty whenever he feels like coming back for it, do ya own thing girl have some "me" time, and by all means waste ya time here on etj its better than annoying him with why questions....

thanks e'rbody. i gave him his space and started doing my own thing. of course he wanted booty call and i didn't give in. now all of a sudden he doesn't want space anymore, he says hes ready to take care of me and spoil me and love me...
