contrary to popular belief poetry does not have to rhyme
it needs to flow and you can use several things to do so

alitteration...the repetition of a letter to starts each word of a line

the repetition of a portion of a phrase to start or end a line

the start and conclussion of a story or concept much like and essay or story
even if it leaves the reader dangling

writing first hand or third hand but always bringing the reader into the picture

being the poetry editor for both my high school and college tenures, i deem it worth poetry
and quite good if you open you mind and accept it does not have to rhyme

read it and you will see there is a cadence to it

Honestly, as I get older it becomes less of a facade and more the truth. When I was younger I had a lot of insecurities and would really put on an act. But now, I'm not afraid to say no, do as I please, be my own self, etc. Its very refreshing.
