I would wake with the morning sun upon my face
Safely wrapped in the arms of my King
My heart beating inside of his chest
His breath softly whispering across my neck
Legs intertwined like vines that have grown together always
Held in the warmth, from the closeness of our bodies
Enveloped in the peace that he brings to my life.

If I could………

I would drift in the deep blue sea
Knowing that my anchor was strong and silent
The rhythm of the water, us, pulsating through me
Our two spirits becoming one
Floating on the ecstasy that he brings to my life

If I could………

I would recline on the roof gazing at the stars
Our hands woven together, the fabric of love
My head on his sculptured chest, listening to the
Steady strong beat of his love for me.
Dreaming in the serenity that he brings to my life.

IIts the first poem I wrote for you love...I still feel this way i always will..its just different now...I will always have faith in you....even though i have let you go..i have not let go of my faith that our love is pure and true.......and i will always remeber this moment that i wrote about here

Teach... this is a beautiful poem. I remember somewhere, maybe a trip report, where you were talking about sitting on the roof and talking for hours... I'm so sorry that you are heartbroken... I know the feeling. Even when you are the one to make the choice, it is difficult and it hurts. I feel it too.

Me too had a first date today...and that just made me even sadder.......after I wondered why I even went....

Same... I was supposed to go on a date on Wed with this guy that asked me out once last year, then didn't show. He's been trying for 3 month to get me to go out with again. I finally agreed... and he we made plans (ironically on Nico's birthday)... then he never confirmed when/where...just kinda blew it off. I told him two strikes you are out. And he said... "I don't get a third?"...WTF????? WHY--- so you can disappoint me again!!!!!!!!!

OMG arew we dating the same guy...My date was supposed to be for lastnight..and he called and cancelled at the last minute...then he called this morning and said lets do it today...and then he was supposed to be here at 1 called at quarter after one and said he was on his way and didnt get here till three...I was like...WTF!? NEXT!!

exactly... so stupid. the simplest things they cannot do just amazes me...
