What group break-up made you mad/sad? - Jamaica Talk

B2K say they're done, and Destiny's Child went through their changes, but weren't you really upset when Scare Dem Krew, The Fugees,Toni Tony Tone, En Vogue and NWA broke up!?! What group break-up hurt your feelings?

NWA for sure! But I guess with the death of Easy E and the huge success of Ice Cube it was bound to happen anyways.

None of it hurt my feelings but just changed the music I listened to. I was sad about Destiny's Child cause I really like them together and loved thier last CD.

The big shocker was TLC and the death of Lisa "Left Eye" Lopez. Their last CD was soooo good and then to know we'll never get another one is just terrible!

When the "digitized voice" left Minni-Vanilli. "Blame it on the rain" was still a good song anyway.

Oh yah Milli Vanilli...I remember them! I was crushed...hahaha. I dressed up as them for halloween one year....almost won a prize too.

The group that hurt me the most was b2k. i was so surprised to find out that they broke up .i know i am not the only one hurt by it because a whole bunch of girls were calling the radio station and crying. It was devasting i thought they were going to stay together.

WOW. I'm a music freak so this is hard.

Probably SWV, because I was obsessed with them at the time. I saw them preform so many times, and I loved off that group. A lot of guys said they look pretty on the album cover but in real life they're nasty, so that's why they were'nt successful. That's mean, I always laugh when I hear that.

Top heart break for sure is JODECI... I don't even want to talk about it!!!

None for me, althoug I must confess the death of Left Eye was a bit upsetting. I love SWV I didn't even know they broke up but I guess it's obvious since they haven't released a song in more than a while. They sure are ugly though and I'm not saying it to be mean. It's a fact like the whole Jay-Z thing. I really liked Eternal and It's a bit of a shame they aren't around today.

I forgot about A TRIBE CALLED QUEST... their break up sucked. First Busta Rhymes left the group, then the group just ended up getting mashed up.

Outkast apparently is about to call it quitts, this is supposedly their last album. I hope they change their minds...

And lastly Digital Underground, Shock G is the wickedest, and if it wasn't for that group Tupac may not have had the career that he had! PAC (who I'm still in love with) was in Digital Underground fi a bit..

i agree with bashment girl...no doubt jodeci's music made a whole lotta babies and i still enjoy listening to their music.

what surprised me about TLC was that i always thought that tboz would pass on first since she suffered from sickle cell anemia...it seems that people die young with that disease. i hope that she continues to be exception.

I hope so too. From what I understand, she's in really good health aside from that Tionne has invested a lot of time energy and money in keeping herself healthy, I think the average person with the disorder is not afforded this luxury so I think that's probably why they die young. Also the attacks and the pains are were worse when she was younger, so maybe it's affects take a greater toll on the bodies of young people more that adults.
