This is very sad. Everyone has made good points.

This thread reminds me of a student I had in my Writing class last year. Every peice of writing he di was about thuggin and bein a gangsta and how he was keepin his pimp hand strong and survivin the streets. I found out that he was living in a huge house with a maids quarters and he had a Nanny and lived in the richest section of town. He was frontin so he would identify with the rest of the boys who really live like that......well i got him to behave for the rest of the year cause i threatened to put him on blast if he ever stepped outta line....he was the best student after that...LOL


It's a sad statement......on where the proirities are!
