Let's talk celebrity - Michael Jackson
What's your opinion on Michael Jackson?
How did you feel about him when he was with the Jackson 5? Do you think he should have stayed with the group? Did he look better when he was Black? <Just kidding  >Did your opinion of him changed during the scandal(s)? How do you feel about him as a singer and performer, then and now?

I didn't listen to much of the Jackson 5, but when he became HUGE I couldn't stand him! I was about 13 and a bit rebelious...didn't want to conform to everyone else in my class. As I grew up, I actually began to appreciate some of his songs, but never cared for his image.

Well...Thriller of course was very well done, but I didn't consider that a stage performance. The second one I didn't care for....think that is due to the time I couldnt stand him....I thought the moon walk was over-rated. The third one is good and I like that song. But one thing I can't stand is the crotch grabbing thingy.... that bugs me.

Well, I know he isnt one of the most popular guys around today, but despite the scandals and issues that has rocked his personal life, I think Michael Jackson is one of the greatest (if not, THE greatest) singer/dancer/performer I have seen in my life.
With all due respect to others such as James Brown and the many other greats of our time, I think Michael is the greatest, hands down. I think he shoulda stayed Black though.
