Japanese businessmen will soon have a chance to look "Bad."

A clothing company has signed an agreement to sell suits and other attire inspired by Michael Jackson.

A spokesman for the Wakita company says the outfits won't be as wild as those Jackson wears on stage because they have to sell to "regular people." He adds, "No glove either." The suits and jackets, to be sold across Japan, will carry the Michael Jackson brand. Photos of the singer also will be used in marketing the brand.

The spokesman says the suits will sell for about $480 each. Each suit will be approved by Jackson's agent and will be released in spring.

Wakita made the deal in April with a Singapore-based marketing company.

Do you think because of his image it will be a best selling item?

I think 10 years ago that would have been a smart move but MJ's image isn't that great anymore. Although the asians, especially Japanese will buy anything that's a fad. Good luck to the man.

gotta admit that MJ's got mad talent, but he has been slipping away lately. his last cd was a horrible flop.

i can't imagine that his suits will sell well in the states. i have several male friends who like MJ but they wouldn't take it to the extreme of dropping several hundred dollars on a suit.

Tia that is so true, but he is years too late. I know he's more popular in Asia and Europe rather than in the US so it will do better there than over here.
