This one's for you TIA.

When I was in Florida last week, on Friday night Russell and I went to see John Legend at the black college in Daytona. This is WITHOUT A DOUBT the best concert I've ever seen.

I dont' know if you all know John Legend but if you don't.....GO GET HIS CD!!!! I've had it a while and was so excited to see him live and I couldn't believe the show. I also bought at the concert another one of his CD's, solo sessions....once again flawless.

First of all I think I was the only white person in the joint as it was at the black college (Mary McLeod Bethune college). And I sware being there was a thousand times better than being at church. It was a spiritual experience and one you'd ONLY want to experience with your spouse/S.O.

You know how when you see someone live and you're totally disappointed because it just isn't the same as the CD you're used to? Well this is one man who's actually BETTER live. Not a flaw in his voice, his back up singers were phenominal and looked good too. Over all the whole experience is one that everyone should have. I can't say enough!! It was the highlite of my trip.

Yes, John Legend......I love that man's voice. He has style and class all of his own. He is definitley is an original.

Hey if you can find it you should get his CD "Solo Sessions Vol 1: Live at the Knitting Factory"

I bought it at the concert, don't know where else you can get it. Its definitely worth it though. I just burned one for TIA and she gets it for Christmas.

They actually have John Legend's new DVD out with him in concert and I am going to go pick it up this weekend.... Can't wait!

John is truly a talented man. I love his voice...he has a very soulful spirit to him.

So I just watched my new John Legend DVD which was almost a replica of the concert I saw in Daytona (minus a few songs). I need to see that guy again....get his tiny butt up to Canada. The DVD is great.....a friend of mine bought it for me and I'll love him forever for buying it!

one of the many ppl I want to see live.... I wish I could've seen him when he came to JA... I guess I'll just have to wait and hope that he'll be visiting Jamaica again sometime soon
