Red face Picking up the pieces
Hey you all, some of you already know of my newest adventure..

I won't be particicpating as much as I would like to these upcoming 4 weeks.
1. because I am being blocked at work &
2. because this month will be a crucial month for me...

In the process of becoming Shanna I have studied law but never finished.. due to personal circumstances and being a stubborn teenager.

I have recently shifted into adulthood and am enjoying such inmensely. We all know about my VISA process to be able to work in the US but its not going with the speed as I would have hoped so I started looking into alternatives just incase. I have been struggling with sum issues lately and found out that I need to improve me and pick up the pieces where I left off 8 years ago and keep going.. it's never too late right?

On June 6th & June 7th of 2008 I will be taking the "colloquium doctum" exam at Aruba's University. If successfull I will be starting at the university in August to persue my studies to become a lawyer.

I have recently changed job and am working at a huge lawfirm which has 3 other affiliations; in Holland,s England and Curacao. I have been receiving a lot of positive feedback from the lawyers here at our Aruba offices and been offered to go back to school, work less hours to be able to combine it all.

I hope you all can keep ur fingers crossed for me as I go on this journey...

MissB, Jelakins, Lilly, JamCan.. you all have been insipirations to me and thank you all for listening to my crap these past two months... oh well.. unto bigger and better things....

Shanna, although the thought of YOU beinga lawyer (LOL) scares the shyt outta me I have faith that you can do what you put your mind to. Even if that includes running off with your school money

Anyway, I'll never stop listening to your crap....at least you make it funny crap.

Congrats GG, I know you will be great at whatever you do and law should be an interesting field. Us women can never better oursleves enough. I have started my own side business to bring in more income and I really enjoy it, although its lots of work. It seems alot of us women on here have multiple talents.

I am so incredibly proud of you... I feel like a big sis who is just beaming!!!!!!! You will make one helluva lawyer woman!!! Anything I can do to support you, you name it.

I know you have been struggling some lately...but I found that it wasn't until my darkest hour that I was able to find the determination i needed to make serious changes to my life... I haven't been happier than I am as a result... so it's all worth it. And it will be for you too, I'm sure of it.

Just think positive girl, you can do it. Learn as you move forward any little step you think is backwards work towards taking a big one forward. Its always ok to stumble just push forward!!! Love ya girl you CAN do it
