Henna for hair

Anyone ever used Henna to color your hair? Particularly the solid kind, not powder.

I'm gonna try it this weekend, with a block of Henna I got at Lush. LOL I hope it works nice or I'll look like a freak in Jamaica

Re: Henna for hair

It looks and smells like crap; but I LOVE the results. My daughter's hair looks so amazingly shiney and healthy.

Sigh.....too bad I'm a blonde!!!!!

Re: Henna for hair

I bought mine at a store called LUSH which is a North American store, but I notice you're in Kingston.

YC I know Henna is an Indian thing, maybe if there are any Indian beauty shop owners in your area you can ask them about it. I wouldn't have a clue where to get Henna in Jamaica.
