i don't always do things traditionally and i've already jumped in to a few threads/convos, but i thought i'd come over here and formally introduce myself...

i'm a canadian born gal... been going to jamaica on and off since i was wee, but the last few years have seen some real frequent flyer miles being racked up...

i, like many, have found a significant other in my travels, we met in slightly untraditional ways so to speak, and after a number of trips, too many hours on msn and the phone, plenty of drama and a lot of soul searching and coming to the same conclusion, we were married in may (in Negril)....

i'm sick of living apart from him and we're expecting in october, so we decided to establish ourselves temporarily in Jamaica while i'm on my mat leave, to wait out his paperwork...

in short that's my story... but i'm only short in height, so excuse my rambles if and when they come...

i found these boards and realize many are in similar situations as me, so hopefully there are a few friendly faces out here whom i can commiserate with over the coming months while i serve my time...
