In the commercial break my mom told me she thought that "unconditional love" was an oxymoron because without the unconditional part, there is NO LOVE. I told her to please explain. And basically, her explanation was just that. If there are conditions, then you really don't love the person.
What say you??

I believe that love itself is unconditional, however how you allow yourself to be treated by those who profess to love you, should not be without condition and vise versa, otherwise you can become a loved door mat, which is totally contradictory.
