Hello, I am a newbie too. I met a Ja man here in the states at work He has been here 20 years, so the situation is a little different. I came upon this site by accident and have learned lots about Ja men (or men in general) from these folks.

Are you in contact with him? Why do you say it probably won't work. If it won't, the heartache will disappear with time. I've also experienced the vacation romance - it's easy in that climate and no job to go to!!! None ever worked for me. It was just a week or two in wonderland. Then back home to reality. That was me anyway. Well, listen to these people. They have given me some good advice and then some!
