LMAO at you two - it might have been fiddled at that point, it became fondled ....
So, to continue where I left off - I was in the thick of the crowd, and for the life of me, couldn't figure out where the touch had come from - So, I continued back over to my friend and handed her her drink. We watched people dancing for a while, talked to a few people = had one guy talking to my friend who told us he had a van and was already taking people to Rebel Salute = he would charge us $50 to go with him (as I said, we were determined to get there!) So, we took his number and told him we would call if we needed a ride.
It was around 3 am by this point, and my shoes were starting to kill my feet - plus, I had had enough for one night of trying to explain to men why the line of that they were going to marry me isn't a good icebreaker -
We started to head towards the door, when suddenly a man was standing next to me........... our eyes caught, we said hello, and suddenly my feet were no longer tired

As it turned out, the man was the owner of the early hand! He bought me a drink, we talked, danced, talked, danced,.... his friend started talking to my friend and dancing with her - eventually, we were the only ones left in the club who didn't work there, and they started to hint that we should leave! We walked up the street to the casino, and continued our conversation. Around 7:30 am, he finally walked me back to the hotel - we said goodbye at the gate, and I told him that I would call him later on as soon as I got my Digicel phone activated= he had to go to Montego Bay for some business, but we made plans to hook up when he got back that afternoon.
So, stars in my eyes, I floated to my room - I laid down, but between my excitement, and the noise of people by the pool (why do some people on vacation go to bed early and get up at 7am?), I couldn't sleep. I walked down to the pool area, grabbed a cup of coffee, and sat down to have a cigarette and relax= two men called me over to their table, told me that they were music producers from Kingston, and wanted to get my home number so that we could get to know each other, because they were going back to Kingston that day - Of course, I politely declined - and saw them the next day, so I guess they didn't realize I would remember who they were or see through the lie, lol - On top of which, when I asked who they produced, the only artist they would name was Sean Paul - guess that they thought they could fool the typical American tourist and impress me with that name - they couldn't have been more wrong if they said Willie Nelson!!
I went back up to the room, threw my suit on, and went down to the beach - My friend finally woke up and came down around 11:30 am. We decided to walk to Digicel and get lunch somewhere. We activated the phones, grabbed Patties at Juicy Patties, and then headed to the bank to change money - I wasn't thrilled by the cambio there - it was right out on the street, and since I wanted to exchange a chunk of money, I was more comfortable inside the bank. With it being Friday, and planning to go to Rebel Salute Sat, I wanted to make sure I had enough cash on me to get through the weekend. Little did I know, I wouldn't need it.
Walking through downtown, I was reminded more of being in Barbados than I had felt on previous trips to JA =- In Negril, it is much more of a tourist town with the smaller resorts that you can pop in and out of, and the restaurants tend to cater towards more Americanized food - I love yard food, but my friend is a pain in the ass to eat with, and she can't handle it. A patty or jerk chicken is about the extent of her yard consumption. This trip reinforced to me that she is getting tougher and tougher to travel with, and that Negril is somewhere she can handle - Ochi is not, unless we stayed at an AI with Americanized food. I also noticed that you see more tourists walking around Negril than I saw in Ochi -
We walked back to the hotel, and I called D to give him the number to my Digicel - he was still in Mo Bay, and said he would call when he got back. we laid in the sun and swam for a bit, then went up to the room and showered and changed. My friend called her friend from the night before, and he said he would come over to the hotel and wait with us for D to get back - we had talked the day before about going to some private beach that they wanted to show us where they shoot videos and stuff in a mineral spring. We sat by the pool bar, drinking a dirty banana and waiting for D - he arrived, and we were all debating what we were doing. D had not been to sleep yet, and was desperately in need of a nap before going out that night - we talked about going to Jus Cheers that night. So, the decision was made to drop my friend and her friend off at his beach, and D asked me to come see his house -
After we dropped them off, D asked if I was hungry - when I said yes, he pulled into a parking lot that had vendors - I assumed we were grabbing something and going back to the house - instead, he parked, came around opened my door for me, and escorted me up the stairs to a classy, sit down restaurant with really good food (forget the name). We talked and ate dinner, and just connected - I felt like I had known him forever. When dinner was over, we went up to his house - stopping first at the local neighborhood bar so that he could introduce me to his cousins. As we arrived at his house, my phone rang = my friend had decided she was just going to hang with her guy that night, since we were all planning to go to Rebel Salute the next day, and just have an early night. Which meant that I was free to be alone with D
As we walked into the house, his puppy began licking my toes - and get your minds out of the gutter - a live, real puppy - he had a 8 week old puppy that he had adopted = and seems to be spoiling rotten, the dog sleeps in the house on his own bed, and he cooks it cereal several times a day. We talked and talked until eventually we both fell to sleep....
