you are absolutely right fankster. There is racial predjudice, yes. but by that definition of racisim, no.
Whats wrong with my definition of racism ?

Quote:
Thing is, the ideas that racists use to justify racism are also based on racial predjudice. So, if you imagine a country where blacks run things, those blacks holding predjudicial ideas would likely do the same.
Racism and its collorary are found only in xenophopic society , most Afrikan societies are welcoming of strangers .
A Typical response from racist apologist ;- blacks if given power will do the same . This is only true when Europeans are the unseen hand behind the scene .
S.Afrika , Ghana ,Namibia ,Zimbabwe etc is now being rule by blacks and what we have is the truth and reconciliation commission in which known murders walk free , so historical reality does not bear out your conjecture that blacks with power would do the same as racist Europeans have and continue to do.
Do not bury the horrible reality of the mind set creates and maintains racism , by let it seems like a natural quality common to all mankind , reserve any such statements for when racism is a distant memory , any use of such type of argument is a tacit approval for its continuance .

So we need to work to stamp out hate, predjudice, AND racism in all around us. Not an acheivable task, not in my lifetime, but with a correct mind and heart we need to start somewhere.
And the first step is to right the wrongs that racism has fostered
