Racist say "stupid stuff' because they hate the other race so much that they will say anything, logocal or illogical, that fuels the fire of their hatred.
Ignorance is another element of racism BUT it is NOT the root cause.
If so, why are there so many educated psychologist, psychiatrist, politicians, doctors, lawyers, and social scientist who are racist?
Who on earth understand more about humanities than these people?
Of course MANY racist views ARE based on ignorance; but thats NOT what breeds racism.
There are many things in life that we are ignorant to and yet we do not maintain a negative and prejudicial attitude towards them.
Like a warm swamp bed, racism breeds readily in the soil of ignorance, but its not the cause.
Racism is borne out of a refusal to accept that another race is as good or better than their own. This fuels contempt that eventually leads to hatred. This hatred causes them to not want to be associated with the other color.
This racist individual/group will then do whatever it takes to disrupt, destroy, or otherwise offset the other color's effort to strive on equal grounds.
