I agree with Lucky on this part - we had no vehicle for a long time and went from St Ann to Albert Town many times to visit Ruperts grandmother and sister. I think its just an excuse.
The Jamaicans I know from our area are very resourceful and finding a ride somewhere is the least of it.
I met Ruperts mother the second time I went to JA, and stayed at their house(thats where he lived), and eventually when I decided not to come back to Canada we lived there for about a year(until we were married).
Just go with your gut instinct like i said before and so did JG, it is usually right we just need to listen to it.
