I'll comment some more on this after I read what LuckyD writes. Really interested in the guy point of view since we always hear from the ladies on here.

The fact that he is pulling away, would be the kicker for me. If he is honestly into the relationship, there should be nothing he hides. If you can't feel the honesty now, then your gut instincts are kicking in. Follow those.
