It is very sad and awful what has happened to you. But, please do not turn into a racist cause of this. Any other man (white, hispaniac, or whatever) is capable of those horrific actions. I am lucky to have noticed with my ex early and to be smart enough to get out. Maybe because of me seeing both my sisters endure abuse for years has made me much more aware...I dunno....but, it still isnt right to judge others. Anyhow...even though this man wasn't good for me ...it has not made me hate a culture...I am currently in one of the most loving relationships with a different Jamaican. Someone full of tons of love and one that would never hurt a fly. One that is stable, works 6 days a week, never asks for anything, but rather gives, etc.......
So please...do not hate nor pass that hate on, cause it's just not right. Just like LadyH has mentioned...there are many incredible Jamaicans out there and this is a board full of love for the jamaican culture and it's peeps.
