And he's right....we do love him! He's my brother and I guess you'd have to be related to understand his antics  Its really out of love that he immitates other people's poetry. LOL |
Thanks for explaining it so well for me JC. Yes Flora, there is absolutely nothing mocking or mean at all in my poem... and I know that Pinchy knows that too.
I've done this before(you can ask TTNU!)--and you'll notice that my satire poem threads only copy works by really good poets who have my respect. The sole intent is to bring a smile to the reader's face... nothing more. The added benefit is that usually, to
really appreciate the poem one must go back and re-read the original!
