denise, what part of jamaica does your friend teach? i'm surprised to find that she only gets $141US as a monthly salary when i have friends who work as hotel staffers for $200US a month. all you can eat mango, apple, and plantain is a nice perk though. lol

do tell us more about your health clinic project. that sounds very interesting. i was wanting to do some humanitarian volunteer projects and checked into the peace corps but i learned that they won't accept anyone with dependent children. i'm a single mom and won't leave my lil man behind.
