Gun violence has exploded in another inner community in Montego Bay, St. James.
With the police concentrating on Norwood where five persons were murdered on Tuesday, the criminals have moved their stage to Flankers where two persons were killed in the past 24 hours.
In the first incident about 9:30 Friday night residents heard explosions and called the police.
When they arrived, the police found 37-year-old Leroy Morris otherwise called "Blacka" lying in a yard with a gunshot wound.
He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The gun violence continued on Saturday morning when 28-year-old labourer, Henrick Morris, of Providence in Flankers was fatally shot.
Reports are that Mr. Morris was walking along the roadway when he was pounced on by an armed man who shot him in the head.
He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The police believe the two killings are related.
