I agree. They should be called

When the first season of Survivor was on, some of the ejected participants were interviewed afterwards in various magazines etc and told how the whole thing was planned out and orchestrated. Who should befriend who, etc.
All of a sudden, after that we never heard a peep about the inner workings of the show. I think it's reasonable to assume that the producers got smart and made better contracts that would cost whistleblowers lots of $$$.
These shows appeal to our voyeuristic tendencies by pretending to show real life--but they don't really.
