Chris Rock's harsh View of Relationships

It's a Hard Rock Life: Chris Rock's Harsh View of Relationships
By Kweli I. Wright, BET.com Staff Writer

Chris Rock’s current “Black Ambition” tour seems to reveal a lot about the current state of the comedian’s personal life. While much of Rock’s show focuses on the politics of race, his stand-up routine kicks-off with a rant about relationships, stating that men who are single are “lonely” and men who are married are “f**cking dead.” Rock adds that women have the upper hand in relationships because they've had coaching. Between books, magazines and Oprah, he says women have constant lessons, where men aren't given much more than Playboy and the Spike television network. Finally, Rock says that strip clubs should only be open to married men since they’re not getting sex at home.

Whoa!

Is Chris Rock kicking the truth or does he sound like a bitter man?

Men: Does marriage really equal death? Are you doomed whether you’re single or married? Which side of the marriage fence are you on and is the grass greener on the other side?

Women: Is Rock doing the typical male rant or do you think there is some truth to it? Would your man agree with Rock’s statements? Do you feel women have an upper hand in relationships because we discuss these issues with each other and have many outlets for love advice? Finally, does marriage really equal death to you?

Discuss this now!
