DEEJAY ADIDJAH 'VYBZ Kartel' Palmer, Julius Watson and Anthony Wright were freed of assault charges in the Spanish Town RM court on Friday but a warrant was issued for fellow deejay Desmond 'Ninja Man' Ballentine.
When the case was mentioned, Ninja Man was absent and as a result, the case against the three men was dismissed for want of prosecution and a warrant issued for his arrest.
The men were before the court following an incident at the Sting Reggae show in Portmore, St. Catherine, in 2003.
Reports are that at about 6:00 a.m. on December 27, Ninja Man was on stage performing when an altercation development between himself and Vybz Kartel. Ninja Man was attacked and beaten by Kartel and the other accused men.
He sought medical attention and they were all charged with disorderly conduct and assault occasioning bodily harm. They made numerous court appearances, however, after a few appearances, Ninja Man has not been appearing.
